Guidance
Wax Melts
We create our wax melts using a 10% fragrance load for maximum scent throw, to release beautiful scents inside your home for around approximately 12-15 hours. We recommend adding 1-2 segments to a suitable wax melt burner, depending on how strong you prefer the fragrance in your home to be. The intensity of your chosen fragrance will depend upon your wax burner, how many segments you add, the room temperature and of course your room size.
All of our products are fully CLP compliant. Allergen information can be found on the CLP label secured to the back of our melts.
IMPORTANT: Please keep all products away from children and pets. Many of our melts may look like chocolate bars but they can cause serious harm if swallowed.
Wax Burner Safety
To use, simply remove all packaging and place one of our beautiful wax melts in the well of a suitable wax melt burner, and add an unscented tea light. Keep the burner away from flammable objects and out of draughts. Do not move burner while lit and never leave a burning candle or in-use burner unattended. KEEP AWAY FROM CHILDREN AND PETS.
Keep replacing tea lights until you can no longer smell the fragrance. Please only add 1-2 segments of wax as any more than this may cause your burner to overflow, posing a safety hazard.
It is important you do not burn tea lights in your wax melt burner for any longer than 4 hours at a time, as this may overheat your burner and may cause the burner to explode, posing a serious safety hazard.
Tips & Tricks
How to Clean Your Wax Melt Burner
Never use cleaning wipes/products/chemicals to clean your burner. Do not attempt to use metal or sharp objects to remove wax from your burner as this could result in injury or damage the burner.
Method 1
There are several ways to clean your burner but this is our favourite and the easiest method if you have wax melts constantly on the go like we do:
- Light a tea light in your burner to loosen the hardened wax.
- Wait a few seconds and start to carefully press on one end of the wax until it easily slides out. (If you leave the wax too long the wax will liquify and you will need to follow the instructions for method 2, below).
- Now add your new melt, cosy up and enjoy!
Method 2
Another quick and easy method to remove wax from your burner is to:
- Light a tea light in your burner to melt the hardened wax.
- Place 1-2 cotton pads/balls into the well of your burner (keep away from flame) to soak up the melted wax.
- Dispose of the saturated cotton pads and use a clean pad to wipe the burner clean.
- Now add your new melt, cosy up and enjoy!
Stay safe and enjoy your wax melts!
